Established in 1976 by Anthony Mooring after studying at the Royal College of Art and receiving a masters degree in furniture design, AM Designs are professional bespoke furniture makers.

Our customers range from the private individual who is looking for that special or unique item that will become a family heirloom, to businesses that require a reception desk or boardroom table.

Commissioning a piece of furniture, set of bookcases or kitchen cabinets is something that the private customer will not do very often. You need to be sure that you will be getting exactly the right result and that is what we aim to achieve.

We are furniture makers and not a retail operation so when you come to us you can be assured of getting highly skilled workmanship combined with over 30 years of design experience. Customers are welcome to visit the workshop to see their furniture under construction.
